The Door King gate access unit on the northern drive of Villa Cortina was inoperative. It was not clear if it is broken or the power has simply been shut off to this unit. The gate access unit on the southern drive appeared in working condition. As a maintenance note, the steel mounting stands for both gate access units are beginning to rust. It is highly recommended that they be sanded, primed and painted to prevent further deterioration.
